Dear friends of djummi records,
with Cinnabar Club’s AOTN, the release of a new djummi act wasn’t that long ago, and here comes the next one: We welcome the Dresden band analoque and at the same time and quite casually say congratulations on their 30th stage anniversary! Unbelievable, isn’t it? Apparently the four of them aren’t all that new to the business, and at least in Dresden one or two concertgoers have probably already crossed the path of analoque.
By the way, for their big birthday, analoque are presenting themselves with their recently completed EP called Catch 22, which they want to share with us from now on. analoque make no secret of the era from which their musical idols come. Post punk and dark wave of the 80s and 90s are important influences for their music. You can hear that, but also a lot more.
So I hope you enjoy the slightly melancholic, thoughtfully driving and deeply immersive songs from analoque.
