The single “Dragon Garage” is part of the second release in the “Split Single Mates” series, initiated by the Berlin-based electro duo Pitchtuner.
The release comprises four tracks in total: Dave Schoepke’s original “Dragon Garage,” reinterpreted by Pitchtuner, and Pitchtuner’s “Worlds,” reinterpreted by Dave Schoepke. Across these four tracks, the two artists exchanged musical perspectives and reimagined each other’s work. Dave Schoepke contributed live drums and synthesizers to Pitchtuner’s “Worlds,” while Pitchtuner transformed “Dragon Garage” with their distinctive, electronic-funk style. Four tracks, two musical worlds—connected, transformed, and brought together in a new dialogue.
“Worlds” was released simultaneously on Burning Friends Records, which you can find on Pitchtuner’s Bandcamp-site.
