We’ve got a lot going on this week: concerts by various djummi acts, the start of advance ticket sales for the djummi festival taking place in September (yes, that’s right—you read that correctly. More info on the website under “festival”), and on top of that, a new release!
rokotak’s third album is out! We’re excited about “Kommen ist wie gehen,” which sounds both familiar and fresh at the same time. Milan enthusiastically continues the delicate singer-songwriter indie-folk style of the previous albums, but this time he’s entrusted the sound to Cologne-based producer Ekki Maas, who has crafted a consistently rich mix with a touch of pop appeal.
You can now listen to the album just about everywhere — on your favorite streaming service, or even on Bandcamp. The eleven tracks are also available on CD and will soon be released on vinyl as well.
