Of course, “Shoes from Paris” is a metaphor. But for what? For happiness itself? For something we don’t yet realize we desperately need for our happiness? For the blessings and follies of our civilization?
Well, Milan Greulich, aka rokotak, would rather leave that to the discerning listener. But fear not — those who don’t want to ponder the meaning can simply enjoy a laid-back, groovy folk-rock number with distinctive guitars and well-measured accordion.
And “Schuhe aus Paris” also whets the appetite for the third album from the indie singer-songwriter from Upper Lusatia! It will be released on April 24th, mixed, like the single, by Erdmöbel producer Ekki Maas.
