Lindbergh

(deutsche Version)

Initially conceived in the early 2000s as a solo studio project by Dresden musician Andreas Schulze (Rabe, Aspekte der Eitelkeit, Montana Peachclub, Q, Joyce, Newt, Shortcuts, Viktoria kann heut’ nicht, Hausverbot), Lindbergh quickly became about “making music with friends.” Various musicians came, went or stayed. Long-time companions included Michael Rautenberg (analoque), Stefan Weiß (Llankrú, Flanshies), Carolin Richter, Frank Hamann, Daniela Seyfarth and Thomas Weiß (Llankrú, Lestar).

Diverse technology was explored—Commodore Amiga, samplers, Korg M1, PC, Roland 303, 505, 909—and the resulting electronic music was framed by hand-played and mouth-sung instruments and voices. Lindbergh also considered the joy of experimentation to be the highest good.

“Ahhh – die 2000er, als wir noch Zeit für Wiederholungen und überdachte Abgänge hatten.” (Zitat: A: Schulze)
