I’ve just set up a Patreon page for djummi. Here you can help us to keep running costs low. The label is not commercial, so it does not generate any income for example from sales of records or downloads. 100% of this goes to the artists.
Much of the work that needs to be done, like preparing new releases, maintaining the website, promotion and social media, is done out of pure idealism in collaboration between the artists and me, simply because it’s fun to release music.
However, expenses such as the $50 per month for using Bandcamp, which is important for djummi, have to be covered somehow. The idea is to spread these costs across the shoulders of djummi records’ friends. This way, djummi can continue discovering new artists and sharing their music.
djummi has been around for 12 years now. During this time we have released 32 albums by 21 artists/bands. If you like what happens on djummi and you want us to continue like this, I would be very happy about your support. Thank you very much!
