djummi-records‘ first weeks have been very eventful! Our compilation Djummix 1 – Crosstown Traffic has been downloaded nearly 300 times and got some nice feedback from different blogs (onda66 / Pop-O-Mat).
And people were interested in our label itself so that we gave several interviews and had some first press even in print media. (Kultur2Punkt0 / ad-rem).
And not to forget our release-party! We celebrated the start of djummi-records in the Galerie Module 4 on the 12th of April enjoying DJain Rogo and The Naked Hands performing live. Oh, and we were stunned how many people came around.
Shortcuts – Thanks, I Feel Fine
One and a half months later we now present our second release. It’s the first album of the Dresden based band Shortcuts called “Thanks, I Feel Fine”. The music is a a fine mixture of Pop, Folk, Blues and Elektro, combined with lyrics in english and german language.
